First Entry

Ok- my first blog. This seems rather weird to write-Like writing a public diary! Anyway, my name is Madelaine Hanson, and I live very near Cambridge.I love writing and reading- not to mention acting...
I hope this will be reasonably interesting to someone- although that is not really why I am writing it.No, this is really an update on my life- not exaggerated or changed to suit me. So there! Lately, I have been working on a new book- Jealousy.
Say what you will, I really love writing. Ok- I am only fourteen in february- but I can honestly say I love write more then anything else I do. Currently, I am on chapter 5- massive progress from last month!
This book is about the world we know-and the unknown world beneath the waters of Venice. In the twisted passage ways of the city of water, there lies a dark and unknown secret. For underneath the glittering ripples of the city, an untold tale of the two fated lovers is about to be told, the story of the broken mirror...
I have decided to put the first few paragraphs here- please bear with me, this is just a draft! Also, please try to ignore my spelling- it leaves much to be desired!

Twisted obsessions
High on the valley, Monsieur Indoute looked down on the sleeping city below him. Somewhere, in the swirling snow and labyrinth of water, his treacherous bride lay waiting.Angrily, he forced his horse into a gallop.Yes, he would find her before the night had ended, and then he would know of his suffering.
It had been a year since she had left him, leaving him broken and ruined. It had been the night before their wedding. And she had escaped, dressed in her pale muslin wedding-gown,so innocent-so perfect.
Far away he could hear her gentle voice in the wind. She was sobbing, screaming his name over the cry of the wolves. Her weeping had irratated him.Her relentless sorrow and longing had brought him to the brink of insanity.
She should have been happy to wed him.She was the envy of all the girls in Venice. But she had despised him. He had tried to stop loving her- but the more he threatened, grovelled or beat her , the more he had loved her, and the more she hated him.
He had been forced to kill her father, to make her realise just how much power he possessed. But she had escaped his murderous grasp. Leaving him mad with anger and desperate for revenge, he had vowed to find her and make her pay for his suffering.
Yes, he thought. He would enjoy making her suffer. She would regret her actions bitterly. She would return to him as his bride.
The snow fell thickly, the wind howling past him like the demons of hell, forcing their master on to find the escaper of his wrath.
That is all I can write for now-I shall show you more later.Have to go-work to do and things to be done! Life stops for no one! Until next time,
Madelaine-Lucie Hanson
